ABOUT THE MOBILE MUSEUM
The Mobile Museum travels to venues across the East Riding of Yorkshire and southern areas of North Yorkshire, providing an interactive experience designed to entertain and educate.
The Mobile Museum visits social groups, care homes, schools, vintage events and more to help bring back fond memories and educate about the past, using items from the 1920s - 1970s.

The idea came about due to two things. One was when I was helping to care for my father who had vascular dementia. I noticed how much he enjoyed looking at vintage items & old photographs and talking about them. The second reason, was when I went to vintage & antiques fairs and seeing/hearing how much people enjoyed seeing items again that they hadn't seen for a lot of years. The Mobile Museum was born.
The Mobile Museum is a one-woman museum, created from my own personal & ever growing collection of 20th century vintage. Its aim is to unlock memories, start conversations and above all make people smile.

The Mobile Museum is now my passion. I love seeing the smiles and hearing the memories that my collection can generate.
